Remembering Ralph Miliband

Abstract

The death of Ralph Miliband after a long suffering deprives the socialist world of one of its leading voices. A bastion of integrity, of intellectual power and moral intensity, of lucidity, of hope and eloquence has been taken down. The loss to those who knew and loved him is incalculable; so, too, is the loss to his students, to the Socialist Register he guided so brilliantly, and to those other radical causes to which he gave himself.
