Abstract

In Sweden, Christian organizations have in recent years taken the lead in promoting solidarity and justice between the North and the South. For instance, it is with a basis in Christianity that the most forceful arguments in favor of Third World debt cancellation have been formulated, and Christian institutions have published the best studies on the effects of the debt crisis on the poor of this planet.
