AbstractNow I'd like to turn to the energy and oil industries. On the demand side, as always, a serious recession like the present one means stagnant demand for energy and oil. In the last three years, overall U.S. energy consumption has increased by less than half a percent a year, while oil consumption has actually decreased at about the same rate.
