Marxist Views: An Interview with Paul M. Sweezy

Abstract

What follows are excerpts from an interview conducted at the MR office over a two-day period during May 1990. To save space we have arranged the text by topics rather than in the more usual question-and-answer form. Yuzo Watanabe is the editor of Jinmin-shimbun, a radical newspaper published in Osaka, Japan; and Yoshiaki Wakima is a political activist and history teacher at an Osaka high school who assisted with interpretation. The interview is scheduled to be published in Jinmin-shimbun at about the same time as this issue of MR. - The Editors.
