Harvey Goldberg: A Conscience and a Catalyst

Abstract

In the middle of the night, in the hospital, Harvey Goldberg asked for water. A friend sitting at his bedside gave him a glass. He took a sip from it. Then he sat up, held the glass to his chest, and said, in a clear voice, "…and he died ecstatically, with the cup in his hand."
