Abstract

In the September 1985 issue of Monthly Review, Paul Sweezy discusses several of the ideas developed in my article "Soviet Capitalism," published in the same issue. His contribution considerably advances the debate which we have been carrying on for several years. There are, however, a number of points on which it seems to me necessary to spell out my views.
