Abstract

U.S. imperialism is facing an acute political crisis in Central America. This strategic isthmus of land that has been dominated by U.S. interests for over a century is today the scene of intense revolutionary conflicts. Three countries—Nicaragua, EI Salvador, and Guatemala—are at the center of this upheaval. It is there that the revolutionary forces are most advanced, having already seized power in Nicaragua.
