China Since Mao
AbstractOn May 11, Charles Bettelheim submitted his resignation as president of the Franco-Chinese Friendship Association, citing growing misgivings about events in China since the death of Mao Tse-tung and disagreements with the attitude of the dominant faction within the association toward the post-Mao Chinese leadership and its political line.
