Abstract

The following question-and-answer interview with Paul Sweezy was conducted by a representative of the Spanish publishing house of Salvat Editores of Barcelona for inclusion in a book on current world economic problems. Since many MR readers may have similar questions in mind, it seemed useful to include a transcript of the interview in MR. The reader should note that the date of the interview was the summer of 1973, before the October War, the energy crisis, and the beginning of the current crisis of the global capitalist economy.
