Life and Death of Ed Stover

Abstract

Dear Monthly Review, Thank you for your communication regarding Ed Stover's article. Despite the vagaries of the U.S. mails, it could not have taken that long to reach you. I can only think it must have been held up in San Quentin's Information Office (read "censor") and not forwarded, since he told both me and a friend who visited him a few days before his death that it had been sent off the week of the 15th.
