A Further Comment on the Energy Crisis; MR and New Outlook

Abstract

I read with much interest the comments by Andrew Marx and Lawrence Lockwood (MR, April 1974) on the Ackerman- MacEwan article (January 1,974) about the energy crisis. I agree with most of their criticism. But I think it is possible to attempt a more systematic critique. This I will try to give by first of all considering which questions any analysis of the crisis should answer.
