Abstract

The Pan-African movement is today in utter disarray. Today also, independent Africa has ignominiously foundered in a debacle of neocolonial subservience to imperialism. These interrelated realities harshly illuminate the limitations and sterility of the bourgeois nationalist ideologies and strategies of independence under which Africa was decolonized.
