Frantz Fanon: Evolution of a Revolutionary: A Biographical Sketch; Revolutionary Theories

Abstract

Although an important part of his time was spent within the Algerian Revolution, Frantz Fanon ended his life dedicated to a larger African Revolution. As a psychiatrist and a Marxist, Fanon was able to calculate the traumatic and material cost of Africa's recent occupation. He died at thirty-seven of leukemia while attempting to prescribe a cure for the "benefits" the West had brought there.
