Abstract

Next month, July 1966, marks the 30th anniversary of the beginning of the Spanish Civil War, that fateful struggle which did so much to shape the political history of the 1930's. Since our special July-August issue will be devoted entirely to the recent coup in Ghana, we are publishing this report on Spain one month before the actual anniversary date. The author is a member of the Spanish underground who, for obvious reasons, is obliged to use a pen name. —The Editors
