Abstract

The Sixth Session of the Organization of Solidarity Among Afro-Asian Peoples (OPSAA), held in Algiers during the last week in March, elevated to priority status the problem of unification and the closing of ranks in the peoples' common struggle against imperialism and old- and new-style colonialism. The Cuban observer—as well as other Latin American observers—reiterated the necessity for close ties between the Afro-Asian organization and Latin American anti-imperialist groups. He expressed Havana's readiness to participate in a conference of peoples of the three continents.
