Slump—How Soon, How Far, How Long?

Abstract

There is at least one respect in which history (under capitalism) always repeats itself: every boom is followed by a slump. We have been in a boom for nearly two years now, and It seems not too soon to ask the inevitable questions: How soon will the slump come? How far will it go? How long will it last?
