Abstract

This is one of four critical commentaries by professional psychoanalysts on Paul A. Baran's article "Marxism and Psychoanalysis" which appeared in the October, 1959, issue of Monthly Review. They will be published, along with a rejoinder by Professor Baran, in an MR pamphlet which will be ready for distribution at a price of 50 cents a copy in the near future.
