The Arab is the latest of the great revolutions of the twentieth century. The Arab people, lost in the backwash of history for centuries, is shaking off fetters, domestic and foreign. The ancient lethargy imposed by sheik and landlord, buttressed in later years by foreign guns and gold, gives way.
