Abstract

It is doubtful if any socialist believes that socialism will come to America automatically. There will be necessary some organized socialist group, deeply rooted among the American people and able to apply Marxism as a guide, not a dogma. Such a group does not yet exist. Probably a majority of socialists believe or have believed that the Communist Party could some day become such a group.
