I think you and I are in favor of salvation. You may call it, if you like, "the good society" or "the good life" (as a philosopher would) or "efficient living" (as a scientist or businessman would). I a little prefer the old, grand theological word, because it suggests a reference to something extremely important and extremely hard to get.
