Abstract

The United States is moving toward fascism and war. New developments may change this course, but we speak here of present trends. Two great facts dominate today's pattern of events: (1) Abroad, the central fact is the impossibility of containing Communism. Revolutionary change has already settled the destiny of Eastern Europe and China, and similar tendencies are materializing in the rest of Asia and in parts of Southern Europe and Africa.
