A Marxist View of Imperialism

Abstract

Let me begin with one or two introductory remarks which may help to avoid misunderstanding. In the first place, I call your attention to the fact that my title is "A Marxist View of Imperialism," not "The Marxist View of Imperialism." I do not presume to speak for others, and I regret that conditions in this country today are such as to make it extremely difficult for Marxists to engage in the kind of fruitful exchange of views that could lead either to agreement or at any rate to a clear definition of differences.
