Abstract

A correspondent who is in a particularly good position to observe developments both at home and abroad writes us as follows: In recent months certain changes have occurred in the right wing of the Republican Party which may be of crucial importance for future trends in American politics. Until recently the diehards, who can be typified by Senator Taft and his associates, occupied a peculiar position on the political scene.
