Abstract

The movements for peace, East and West, working under different social systems, have tended to go their separate ways. I have had my own disagreements with some policies and positions of the World Peace Council, but today such disagreements are minuscule compared to my objections to the Reagan administration's foreign policies: its support for murderous client regimes, especially in Central America (even to the remnants of Pol Pot's regime in Kampuchea), and its continuing insistence on pushing for new escalations in the nuclear arms race.
