What is the relationship between ethics and liberation? This is a question of central importance to any liberation movement. Living in bourgeois society, we are justified in viewing the moralizing of politicians and the preachings of ministers with extreme cynicism. And when we encounter a similar moral tone of voice in the pronouncements of liberation movements and their leaders we instinctively react with suspicion.
