Abstract

We reproduce here a part of Fidel Castro's closing speech at the Tricontinental Conference, delivered in Havana on January 15th. This is the part which attacks Trotskyism and singles out Adolfo Gilly, a frequent contributor to MR, for special condemnation. Gilly's reply, containing his assessment of the results of the Conference, is included in this issue of MR beginning on page 21. Our own comments will be found in the Review of the Month above. —The Editors.
