Abstract

It seems most likely that a cease-fire will soon be agreed to in Korea-perhaps even before this is in print. We wholeheartedly welcome this development. One thing is certain: either the Korean war is stopped or it will spread until it becomes a world war. If it is stopped now, the world will have one more chance, perhaps the last, to organize peace.
